Our studio is nestled on 10 private acres in the Manistee National Forest, just a few miles east of the Tippy Dam Recreation Area.
The outdoor space is ever-changing as we continue to develop it into the perfect all-in-one location for outdoor portrait photography. In 2021, we added a fully functional greenhouse made entirely of recycled materials. In fall 2022, we planted hundreds of bulbs to enhance spring sessions, and in 2022–2023, we began growing perennial summer flowers to complement our woodland landscape.
Inside, the studio spans over 600 square feet and is fully stocked with dozens of designer backdrops, hundreds of handmade props, and much more—giving you endless creative possibilities for your session.

Hello! I’m Julia LeGalley, proud owner of LeGalley Photography. We officially opened our doors in 2017, but I’ve been a mom with a camera for far longer. I met my husband in 2005, and we’ve been happily married since 2009, raising two wonderful children along the way.

Hello! I’m Julia LeGalley, proud owner of LeGalley Photography. We officially opened our doors in 2017, but I’ve been a mom with a camera for far longer. I met my husband in 2005, and we’ve been happily married since 2009, raising two wonderful children along the way.
Before photography became my full-time passion, I spent 8 years working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients, including several years in a hospital setting. That experience gave me a unique perspective on life—it taught me to cherish every stage of life and the tiny, fleeting moments that tell the biggest stories.
Over the past 9 years in business, I’ve loved watching families grow, change, and create their own stories. Every session is an opportunity to capture love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured for generations. I strive to make every session fun, heartfelt, and full of genuine moments, so your images feel as real and vibrant as your life.
